Baymarque | 155 Male St, Brighton | Completed 2009

Boutique | Medium-Density Residential

Built on the site of the former Brighton Lawn Bowling Club, which relocated to a nearby location and used the proceeds of sale to build a new modern indoor facility, Baymarque is a timeless, boutique townhouse development nestled in the heart of Brighton.

A master-planned project incorporating 46 two and three level homes, Baymarque’s elegant, contemporary design by acclaimed architects Rothe Lowman has been highlighted by Bayside Council as an exemplary medium density development and in 2009 won the Medium Density Category at the Victorian UDIA Awards for Excellence.

Project Value

“Baymarque’s townhouses are deceptively large and integrate seamlessly into the surrounding urban context of large family homes in tree-lined streets. Yet their intelligent, timeless designs sit on compact footprints, rendering them an attainable and low maintenance proposition in a prestigious suburb.” September 2009
