“ A key to our success has been the absolute priority we place on our relationship with our capital partners. It drives every decision we make and action we take.”
– Paul Hameister, Executive Chairman
Our Background
Founded in 2005, Hamton set out to establish a trusted vehicle to provide institutional investors with exposure to entrepreneurial residential development returns.
Our first joint venture with ISPT (the Industry Superannuation Property Trust) was executed in 2006.
Hamton delivered material financial outperformance on that and every one of the numerous joint venture development projects that followed with our industry super fund capital partners.
Our systems and processes are designed and constantly being refined to deliver transparency, accountability and the highest level of integrity to those who trust us with their co-investment.
But our reputation is only as good as our last project and we never rest on our laurels.
“We consider ourselves entrepreneurial and design-conscious developers. We’re always looking for opportunities to maximise outcomes, both financial and non-financial. It is never set and forget. Every day in the life of a project should be a chance for new thinking.”
– Matt Malseed, Managing Director
Our Approach
We pride ourselves on leading the market with innovative thinking.
We do it right. We think long-term – in terms of relationships, reputation and value. This frames the context within which we make all decisions. We are not a hit and run developer. We are about creating a lasting legacy.
We have fun together. Whilst we take the business of property development and investment very seriously, it doesn’t mean we can’t have fun with the people we choose to work with along the way. We like to have a laugh and never take ourselves too seriously.
We create communities with heart and soul. We purposefully set out to ensure our developments integrate with and improve the suburbs in which we develop.
We hold ourselves to the highest standards, not just for the betterment of the Hamton business, but for the enhancement of the future of the city we love, Melbourne.
