Paul Hameister OAM Executive Chairman

Paul is a former lawyer and investment banker who has been actively involved in property development since 1997. He co-founded Hamton in 2005.

His professional passion is finding and delivering solutions to complex and challenging development opportunities.

Paul is the first Australian to have climbed the Seven Summits (the highest peak on every continent on Earth, including Everest) and complete the Polar Hat-Trick (North Pole, Greenland Crossing and South Pole), including being a member of the first all-Australian team to establish a new route from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole unsupported and unassisted. He has been a member of four expeditions sponsored by the Australian Geographic Society, including a 1,000km expedition through unexplored Amazon jungle (the mountainous Sierra del Divisor region in Peru). His expeditions have been captured in TV documentaries aired on Discovery Channel and National Geographic Channel globally.

He is involved with a number of charities and not-for-profits, including as Co-Chairman of the National Board of the FMAA, the largest Bachelor of Commerce university student club in Australia, with branches across all of the country’s best university campuses.

Paul received an Order of Australia Medal in the 2019 Queen’s Birthday Honours for service to exploration and to business.

Matt Malseed Managing Director

Matt is the joint owner of Hamton Property Group.

Prior to becoming a joint owner of Hamton in 2015, Matt was a key senior executive in the business since its inception.

After obtaining a double degree in Engineering (civil/structural) and Business (finance) at Swinburne University (graduating with Honours) in 2003, Matt started his career in project management before becoming a Development Manager and then Development Director with Hamton, where he has led the largest and most complex of the company’s award-winning projects.

He has been a regular guest lecturer for undergraduate and post graduate courses in property at the University of Melbourne and RMIT and has a strong interest in mentoring young people in the property development industry.

He enjoys playing golf whenever an opportunity arises. Having been quite handy as a youngster, these days there’s a great divide between his best and worst.

Steven Coll Chief Financial Officer

Steve has extensive experience in the property development and funds management sectors. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant. As CFO of Hamton, he has responsibility for the group’s financial control, strategic planning, reporting, taxation and treasury management, in addition to oversight of several of the operational business lines.

Prior to joining Hamton, Steve spent 5 years as the CFO of Oliver Hume Real Estate Group and Oliver Hume Property Funds, presiding over all accounting, financial and taxation matters, with overall responsibility for the treasury and reporting functions across multiple property syndications along with securing project debt facilities.

He spent the first 8 years of his career with Pitcher Partners in its Business Assurance & Advisory Division, including various special projects and secondments.

Steve and his wife spend most of their spare time running around after their three young children. In the rare gaps, Steve can be found on the golf course or tinkering with his vintage Mustang.


Fergus Humphries Sales & Marketing Director

With over 20 years’ experience in the Property and Development industry Fergus brings a wealth of knowledge to the team at Hamton.

Prior to joining Hamton, Fergus has held various senior leadership roles within some of Melbourne’s most successful private development groups. This included the last 6 years as a senior member of the executive team at Little Projects, which resulted in the delivery of over $2b of projects across Australia & New Zealand and more recently consulting to a broader cross section of National & International firms.

Joining Hamton as the Sales & Marketing Director he is very much looking forward to the challenges ahead.

Outside of work Fergus enjoys entertaining with family & friends along with travelling with his wife and four children.

Justin Galligan Senior Development Manager

Justin joined Hamton in 2020 bringing over 10 years’ of experience in the Melbourne property development industry in a career that has included working as an Architect as well as a Development Manager.

Justin’s prior experience includes 5 years working as a Development Manager at Goldfields and Chun Group, managing mixed use residential and commercial developments and 6 years in Architecture and Interior Design offices Jackson Clements Burrrows and Carr Design Group. He holds both a Bachelor of Property and Construction and a Master of Architecture from The University of Melbourne.

Justin enjoys spending time with his family and weekends at the beach or the farm in the Western Districts.

Brad Yudelman Senior Project Manager

With over 10 years of experience in the property development industry, Brad’s expertise lies in making the dream happen – getting projects into construction and seeing them through to completion.

Brad founded his own project management consulting business project co. – a business which provides a range of services to the property development industry. Prior to establishing this business, Brad spent over 3 years at a leading project management consultancy, before moving in-house to leading private development companies such as HAMTON™. Brad is a problem solver and always seeking a win-win.

If Brad isn’t at the office or on a construction site, you may find him on one of Melbourne’s running tracks. Brad’s passion for running and adventure led him to the Sahara desert and completing the Marathon des Sables in 2015.

Cameron Shekleton Development Manager

Cameron joined Hamton amid the turmoil of 2020. He comes with 14 years experience working in the property development and construction industries. Prior to joining Hamton, Cameron spent 4 years at Icon Developments and was responsible for delivering numerous boutique multi-residential developments and commercial offices.

Holding a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and Bachelor of Business Management, he started his career as an Engineer before becoming a Project Manager where his passion for residential and commercial development grew. He brings that same passion to the developments he managers now, striving to ensure each one is industry leading.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and little girl, cooking and fishing in Port Phillip Bay.

Tim Oman Project Manager

Tim joined the team in 2020 with 8 years’ experience in Melbourne’s property development and construction industries. Tim holds a Master of Business (Property) from RMIT and a Bachelor of Construction Management (graduating with Honours) at Deakin University. After commencing his career in a Contract Administration role with Verve Constructions, where he gained exposure to the high-end residential sector, Tim joined MAB Corporation in 2013 where held the position of Project Manager and his responsibilities included leading the delivery of medium-to-large scale projects across Retail, Commercial, Residential and Industrial sectors within substantial precinct developments including Newquay, Merrifield, Uni Hill & Element Park.

Tim enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as weekends down at the coast, particularly when there’s surf about. He has a passion for sports, travelling and the outdoors.

Nick Voyage Assistant Development Manager

Nick joins the team in 2019 with almost 7 years’ experience in the property and construction industries.

After 5 years at Multiplex building landmark apartment projects across the CBD, Nick joined a local property developer working on several residential projects across Melbourne prior to starting at HAMTON™

Holding both a Bachelor of Environments (Construction) from The University of Melbourne and a Master of Business from Monash University, Nick brings real focus, diligence and enthusiasm to every project he works on.

When not behind his desk or on site, Nick is a hopeless amateur sportsman – still regularly playing both Football and Cricket on weekends when his body allows.

Danielle Caruso Marketing & PR Manager

Danielle has a 10+ year career within the property industry, working on behalf of many leading national and international property developers.

Prior to joining Hamton in 2018, Danielle spent the last 5 years with Australia’s largest independent property marketing agency, successfully planning and executing strategies for land, medium density and apartment projects.

With a wealth of knowledge in the sector, Danielle’s passion is creating unique project campaigns that lead the market.

Danielle and her partner share a love for design and have recently completed an extensive renovation of their own home.

Tracey Bradshaw Sales Manager

Originating from a marketing and event management background, Tracey moved into property in 2002. Her first role was with MAB Corporation selling the first stages of NewQuay Docklands. She then worked on many high profile developments including Aerial Camberwell Junction, Clara South Yarra before joining Hamton as Sales Manager in 2012. In this role she was the key sales person on 50 Albert South Melbourne, Malvern Hill and the award winning Eden, Haven and Sanctuary project in Abbotsford.

Following a passion for country living, Tracey lives between the city and her farm in the Macedon Ranges where she is breeding warmblood and German Riding Pony horses.

Tracey has rejoined Hamton in 2019 for the Moonee Valley project.

Peter Dunn Finance Manager

Pete joined Hamton in March 2011 and has worked on numerous of its projects, the various Hamton operating businesses and the Hameister family group interests.

He has played an integral role in establishing the budget and reporting systems that are used throughout the group and has also overseen the establishment and sale of various businesses across the journey so far.

Originally from Perth, Pete is now fully engrossed in the Melbourne lifestyle. He likes to keep fit by utilising the various running tracks around town and completed the 2013 Melbourne Marathon. Pete is also a keen golfer, with a goal of getting his handicap back down to single figures.

Pete has Hamton to thank for meeting his wife Nicole (a former employee).

Sally Irons Operations Manager

Sally first joined Hamton from 2006 when she helped establish the business.

She rejoined Hamton in October 2017 and now doubles as Operations Manager and Executive Assistant to Paul and Matt.

She’s had over 12 years experience in property development in both the residential and industrial sectors, gaining expertise across Office Management, HR, IT and Marketing and PR.

Sally has a natural interest in systems and processes, which ensures the Hamton daily operations run smoothly. She loves organisation and when she’s not making lists, she’s making lists. Being part of a great team is also really important to Sally.

Sally enjoys travel and experiencing different cultures, particular highlights include riding her motorbike across Vietnam and navigating through the locks of the Panama Canal in Central America. Weekends include trying out new recipes on family and friends and spending time with her husband and poodle.

Jessica Lane Marketing & PR Executive

Jessica brings enthusiasm, creativity and a hard-work ethic to all Hamton projects.

With and Bachelor of Communications at RMIT majoring in Public Relations, and experience in property marketing, residential property sales and PR, Jess is a key member of the Hamton Sales and Marketing team.

Jess is currently completing a Master of Marketing, and in her little spare time enjoys sharing a wine with friends, walking her two dogs and travelling to exciting places.
