Society wins 2 awards

Society South Yarra continues to gain acclaim, recently being honoured with two Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) awards for Marketing Excellence.

The AMI originated in 1933 and represents professional marketers throughout Australia. The institute has a leadership role in advancing the marketing profession through established strong links with business, academia and government and as a result has become the voice of the marketing profession.

The AMI Awards for Marketing Excellence recognise and reward extraordinary success achieved through innovative and effective marketing practices. Every industry in Australia can enter, not just property. Household names were the main competition, including TAC, Aviva, Parks Victoria and Origin Energy.

The two award categories which Society won are:

Best Launch of a New Product or Service – A marketing program which successfully develops and launches a new product or service. The essence of a successful new product or service is that the marketer has identified a real customer need or want and has developed a product or service to satisfy that need.

Consumer Insight – The use of research or database development and analysis to provide insights into customer behaviour to create improvements in brand or business performance.
