Whilst each development presented its own unique challenges, ’Stonington’ raised a new complexity in planning issues not previously experienced on Hamton’s preceeding developments. Through direct engagement with Council, the local community and Heritage Victoria, the proposal’s complex issues were holistically considered in an integrated manner, engendering the support of Counil, Heritage Victoria and the majority of local residents. This was a particularly satisfying and challenging process for SJB Planning as a firm, particularly in the context of a step up in the scale of development contemplated by Hamton.
