Welcome to the second issue of Hamton’s quarterly newsletter, “In the Loop”.
The three big themes for Hamton in the last quarter, are detailed in this issue of In the Loop, include:
1. Excellent progress on all current Hamton projects, with some highlights including commencement of site works at Richmond and Brighton, the sale of Stonington Mansion and another award for Abito. Both the Richmond (72 townhouses) and Brighton (46 townhouses) are sold out and construction on both projects has commenced, with completion of the finished townhouses expected in late 2008. The sale of Stonington Mansion on 1.2ha (leaving us with around 1.8ha of developable land in blue chip Malvern) apparently set a record price for the most expensive residential home ever sold in Victoria. And our Abito project has received further recognition by recently winning the 2007 RAIA Victorian Architecture Award (Residential Architecture – Multiple Housing Category).
2. The further strengthening of our sales team with our new joint venture with mypropertyinvestment.com.au (MPI). MPI offers property investors a set of free tools with which to assess potential property investments and monitor their existing property investments. As part of our joint venture and our ongoing dedication to research and delivering our clients helpful information on which to base their investments, we released the first quarterly Hamton Residential Vacancy Report in August. The latest statistics support our initiative to provide affordable property in the inner city;
Hence continuing upward pressure on rental yields in quality under-supplied inner city locations, such as South Yarra.
3. Continual innovation in our business to stay ahead of the pack. In this regard:
Thank you to our staff, consultants, clients, friends and family for your ongoing support.
