Sales commence at the Jewel of Diamond Creek ? 'Prospect Hill'
Saturday, 02 June 2007
JDZ Projects and Hamton Property Group, will launch the first stage of sales of their joint venture residential project, ‘Prospect Hill’, located in Melbourne’s north-eastern growth corridor.
The 4.78 hectare site, situated on Everleigh Drive in Diamond Creek, was purchased in late 2006 and will consist of 44 exclusive allotments, ranging in size from 450sqm to 1400sqm, and priced from $160,000 to $325,000.
Prospect Hill offers a private enclave environment abutting native protected bushland to the north west and featuring numerous mature native trees retained by the developers to provide an attractive setting for a semi-rural community.
The enclave development is expected to be well received by second and third home buyers searching for a special place to establish their dream home.
Prospect Hill spokesperson and Director of JDZ Projects, Jeremy De Zylva, said the site was one of the best he had encountered in all of his years of working within the development industry.
“ Surrounded by natural features including the sites gentle undulating topography, loads of native trees many of which we will retain and develop around, spectacular views and an innovative development plan, Prospect Hill is set to provide a new benchmark in the Diamond Creek community.
“ One of the site’s most unique features is that it abuts the Urban Growth Boundary (UGB). This Government enforced protection ensures Prospect Hill’s picturesque northern views and wide open spaces will be preserved for future generations,” Mr DeZylva said.
Ideally named after Diamond Creek’s association with the gold rush in the pioneering days of Victorian settlement, Prospect Hill is the north-eastern growth corridor’s cream of the crop.
“ Prospect Hill represents a new calibre of land available to Melbourne’s northern suburbs. Surrounded by mature trees, this unique parcel of land offers privacy yet has the character and warmth of an established community.
“ Prospect Hill will offer second and third homes buyers a rare opportunity to establish themselves in an artistic and culturally rich community.
JDZ Projects Managing Director, Jeremy DeZylva said he was delighted to be working in conjunction with Hamton on what will be his debut project in Melbourne since leaving Macquarie Bank’s Medallist Developments.
“ Our companies work to the same philosophies and we look forward to delivering on our vision to create a unique lifestyle experience residents will be proud to call home.”
“ The development is surrounded by an array of established local amenities, including Diamond Creek’s village-like shopping precinct, cafes, restaurants and public transport system, Prospect Hill offers the charm of a country lifestyle and it’s only 23 kilometres from the city. The area is also serviced by an established road network including the Western Ring Road and the newly upgraded Greensborough bypass,” Mr De Zylva said.
He said that strict building guidelines will be put in place to protect the integrity of the site.
Expecting to commence earthworks once final approvals have been obtained, Hamton and JDZ Projects are in discussions with a handful of speciality builders to build signature homes designed for the estate.
