Baymarque Brighton construction complete
Friday, 09 October 2009
Construction of Baymarque is now complete. Owners and tenants have been moving in since August and are already enjoying the bayside lifestyle. In one of Melbourne's prestigious inner bayside suburbs, Hamton has created an exclusive secure townhouse community that is unique to Brighton. Consisting of 46 high quality townhouses featuring contemporary architectural design, superior finishes and a significant diversity of townhouse types, Baymarque is a stylish and timeless development.
The townhouses, designed by award winning architects Rothe Lowman, incorporate contemporary natural materials with sand coloured undertones to represent the site's bayside location. Floating aluminium boxes are used at key points in the development, along with aluminium solar shading shrouds. Asymmetrical timber dividing frames and pergolas are also applied between houses to differentiate individual dwellings and external spaces. Designed as four clusters of townhouses throughout the site, each individual residence is integrated with those in its immediate proximity to ensure a sense of space, privacy and individualism.
Internally, the use of Miele appliances, chrome imported tap ware, quality timber flooring, 100% wool carpet and emporite joinery with feature laminate detailing contribute to the sophisticated contemporary design.
Baymarque was launched to the market in May 2007 and sold out in less than two months. Hamton, along with Maddisson (project builder), Rothe Lowman (project architect) and the other valued consultants who contributed to this project, are extremely please with the end result at Baymarque Brighton.
